Advocates Cricket World Cup

Two players from Orissa have been picked to represent the country in the 2nd Advocates World Cup Cricket Tournament to be held in England, under the backing of Bar of England and Wales Cricket Club, from July 24 to August 4. According to a press release, Orissa’s Girija Mishra and Gyanendra Kumar Parida have been included in the 20-member Indian team, which will be led by senior Supreme Court advocate, R Santhanakrishnan. India had won the first Advocates World Cup, defeating Pakistan in the final at Hyderabad, two years ago.
